DASH in Africa Postponed

We regret to announce that in light of the global outbreaks of COVID-19, DASH in Africa will be postponed until further notice. Our leadership has made this difficult decision with the safety of our participants and speakers in mind.

DASH in Africa is an international gathering of innovators in AI and digital health—bringing people together across the continent is an integral component of the Summit’s mission. Holding the event will require international travel and gathering in confined spaces, which greatly increases the risk of infection. Given the current acceleration of the epidemic, we feel it is essential to join international efforts to reduce travel and public gatherings to curb the spread of the virus.

Already, DASH in Africa preparations have brought together virtually a community of clinicians, entrepreneurs, data scientists, government leaders and others ready to build an ecosystem for innovation in the AI in health space in Africa. While we watch the developments on the coronavirus outbreak and wait to set a new date for the summit, we will continue to engage online and via the Dash in Africa app, and look forward to your thoughts, insights and updates on AI in global health.

Thank you for being a part of DASH in Africa.
