Consultant, Public Health Specialist and Health Data Analyst
Beatrice Kariuki is an experienced public health practitioner with over fourteen years of experience working in the health sector. She is a medical doctor (MB ChB, Uganda) and holds a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Kariuki’s experience spans clinical service provision in HIV clinics, HIV program monitoring and evaluation, data-driven health service quality improvement, and data analytics in Kenya, Zambia and the USA. In her most recent role as Associate Director of Data Analytics with the Palladium Group, Kariuki helped to implement a USAID-funded health system strengthening project supporting the Ministry of Health, Kenya. With Health Informatics and Data Analytics (HIGDA), Kariuki focuses on setting up a data analytics framework for the health sector, a data analytics training program for health leaders, and platforms to increase the accessibility of health information to policymakers.
Beatrice has great interest in health and wellness maintenance as well as a passion for the application of data and technology to shift approaches to health from “test and treat/repair” to “predict and prevent.”
