Vivek Agrawal is currently co-leading the Digital Solutions for Malaria Elimination (DSME) project at CHAI, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The project is a consortium of 30 organizations funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) working to develop a suite of digital solutions to improve malaria surveillance in 12 countries across Central America, Southern Africa and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining CHAI, Agrawal spent a year working with Central Square Foundation, a policy think tank focused on improving the quality of school education in India. During this time, he helped implement a technical platform to function as a management information system across 2600 government schools as part of a pilot project. Before transitioning into the social impact domain, Agrawal worked for three years as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney.
Agrawal holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
